The Indigo Warriors Program

Indigo Warriors is a child development programme for children between the ages of 5
and 8 years old. It focuses on developing positive values, attitudes and life skills using a
combination of life skills work books, fun games, a merit badge motivational system, yoga
and Eastern martial arts. It develops values and attitudes aligned with good citizenship &
leadership, helping children achieve their full potential in life. It develops strength of char-
acter, Respect, Courtesy, Discipline, Learning power and equips children with anti– bully-
ing skills, all in a safe and fun way that children really enjoy.

The programme has been created by Steven Fedor and is the result of applying profes-
sional personal development training strategies to children but using games and Eastern
movement arts to make learning fun and interesting. The syllabus and teaching strategies
have been developed in consultation with state and private school teachers, and by em-
ploying the peak performance coaching approaches that top sports people and business
leaders use (NLP) and through drawing on the experience of over 10 years of teaching.

Children attend one 45-60 minute lesson per week but also have workbooks and things to
practice in between lessons. The full syllabus takes approximately two years to work
through but commitment can be on a month by month basis and children start to benefit
after just a couple of months.

The goals of the programme , summarised more fully later, are in line with the govern-
ment’s “Every Child Matters” agenda and addresses the 5 objectives which came out of
research in support of the Children’s Act as seen in the sub menu on your right.
